Registrations are open for a 3-day intensive course on Numerical Modelling and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) with a strong focus on offshore and maritime applications, organised by INESCTEC.OCEAN.
This course specifically targets: maritime engineers (civil, mechanics, naval), researchers, graduate students, and industry professionals interested in CFD and offshore engineering.

Schedule:
- Day 1 – Introduction & Fundamentals: Offshore sea conditions, fundamentals of CFD, governing equations, numerical methods, and hands-on OpenFOAM introduction.
- Day 2 – Advanced CFD & Applications: Advanced OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent overview, DualSPHysics with hands-on sessions, and offshore case studies.
- Day 3 – Integrated Modelling & Industry Perspectives: Coupled simulations, SINTEF tools and case studies, group exercises, and industry insights.
